can i make traditional cranberry sauce with brown sugar rather than white?
i ran out of white and forgot to replace it.
Yes you can make cranberry sauce with brown sugar. I made some the other day and it tastes great. I added some diced apple and orange as well.
You can also use honey, orange juice concentrate, apple juice, apple jelly, raspberry jelly, orange marmalade, almost any jelly or jam … I would stay away from grape and strawberry jellies.
