My next door neighbor’s bottle brush tree bloomed first, mine started to bloom when hers is fading away. Why?
She didn’t do anything more than I had done to the tree.
A few different possibilities: 1) You may have a different variety of bottlebrush. 2) Your (or his) yard may be a micro-climate, meaning your yard (or his) may be colder (or his warmer). 3) You have different conditions of soil and/or water. 4) Different type of fertilizer.
Most likely, it’s a different variety -are the flowers/leaves the same shade/length?
